Mike Murphy

About

Mike is a seasoned financial executive with a strong background in the mining and metals industry. He has extensive experience in financial planning, risk management, and strategic decision-making for large-scale projects.

Mike has experience with commercial negotiation, financial and operational modelling and managing feasibility studies for projects across Sub-saharan Africa. This has included projects in Gold, Copper, PGMs, Iron Ore, Coal, Bauxite, Manganese, Tin, Rare Earths and Tungsten. He has lived and worked in Guinea as well as elsewhere in Africa, for publicly listed and privately owned mining companies. He also advised on corporate finance across the mining sector whilst at Cannacord Genuity based in London.

During his 15 years experience advancing post discovery projects through to financing, construction and operation, he has been responsible for optimising technical studies to meet lenders and investors requirements, funding structures that protect shareholder value, offtake agreements and external reporting.
